The IICRC-approved Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) online course is designed to educate technicians in the science and practice of water damage restoration. The course will also provide residential and commercial maintenance personnel with the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows and contamination such as mould.

This course will cover:

-       extraction

-       fundamental containment

-       mould procedures

This course provides an enhanced concept of water damage, its effects and techniques for drying of structures.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This course will be delivered using the Zoom video-conferencing application. Minimum hardware and bandwidth requirements below:

  • An internet connection - broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)
  • Speakers and a microphone 
  • A webcam or HD webcam 
  • Single core processor 1Ghz or higher
  • Minimum 1.5Mbps internet bandwidth

The exam for this course will be conducted online, and administered by a third-party IICRC approved provider. Instructions for exam registration will be provided in the course registration email. A $70 exam fee is payable to IICRC.
